Hutchinson Scorches Hops for 3 HR
Sunday, August 11th , 2047
The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Duncan Hutchinson did today at Farmers Field, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 7-5.
"It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Hutchinson said. "Good things happen, when that happens."
The Lancaster Farmers right fielder blistered the Yakima Hops for 3 hits, batted in 6 runs and scored 3 times.
"It ain't like we weren't trying," Yakima manager Gerald Clark said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today."
Duncan Hutchinson struck out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Cedric Carey in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Cedric Carey in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Dustin Veeck in the 8th.
In the 2047 season Hutchinson is hitting .334 with 41 home runs.
