Red-Hot Bat: Konduru Collects Cycle Saturday, July 27th , 2047 Asvarya Konduru punished the Asheville Highlanders today, leading the Fighting Imps to a 6-5 win. In doing so, Konduru hit for the cycle, tagging the Highlanders for 4 hits in 4 at-bats. A player hitting a single, a double, a triple and a home run in the same game is one of the more unusual feats in professional baseball and typically happens only a couple times per season. "Well, I didn't expect that to happen," the Ithaca center fielder said after the game. "I got some great pitches and I hit their mistakes." Konduru also had 2 runs batted in and 2 runs scored in the game at Imps Park. Asvarya Konduru tripled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Coy Stewart in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
