USSL Triple A Names #1 Player
Wednesday, October 9th , 2047
The manager of the Hialeah Dodos said he thinks George McLean is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 25, but it will be hard to top the right fielder's 2047 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the USSL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award.
His winning campaign featured a .356 batting average and a .434 on-base percentage this year. In 80 games he piled up 93 hits, 17 doubles, 4 triples, 26 home runs, 71 RBIs and 62 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Victor Jensen of the Hialeah Dodos finished second in voting, while Alfred Espinosa of the Norfolk Pajaritos finished third.
