Wells and Molina Suspended for Free-for-All Sunday, September 15th , 2047 Yesterday at Sea World Dan Wells and Alfredo Molina got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Alaskan Humpbacks and Salt Lake City Buzz. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Wells will have to sit out 4 while Molina would be given a 8-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. So far this season Wells has hit .279 with 14 home runs, 61 RBIs and scored 56 times. So far this year Molina has 5 wins and 6 losses and a 4.32 ERA. |
