Pride Ottens Gone for Year Friday, August 30th , 2047 The Hartford Pride were dealt a severe blow when Aldo Ottens was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Sacramento Redlegs. After the game, the team trainer reported Ottens might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 32-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. They indicated it would take Ottens at least 11 months to heal. |
