Bakersfield-Salt Lake City Fight Results in Suspensions Friday, August 9th , 2047 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Bakersfield-Salt Lake City contest at Jerome Grounds. The Nobles Pablo Peñaranda and the Buzz Isaac Gunner will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Thus far this season in 74 games Peñaranda is batting .258 with 21 home runs, 49 RBIs and 45 runs scored. He has 74 hits in 287 at-bats. |
