Bakersfield-Salt Lake City Brawl, Martí and Molina Suspended Wednesday, August 7th , 2047 If there wasn't a history between Juan Andrés Martí of Bakersfield and Alfredo Molina of Salt Lake City, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Martí said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Currently Martí has 3 home runs and a .295 batting average. In 14 starts this year Molina has crafted a 3-4 record and a 4.41 ERA. |
