Wallace Selected Top Performer in 3AAA Monday, September 16th , 2047 26-year-old Michael Wallace made a few Florida headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 6 hits in 10 at-bats to put up a .600 average. Wallace collected 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs. For the season, Wallace is hitting at a .179 clip with 14 home runs, 28 RBIs and has scored 23 runs. He has 36 hits, 16 walks and a .252 on-base percentage. |
