Season-Ending Injury for Hung-chang Chang
Sunday, July 21st , 2047
Tortolita catcher Hung-chang Chang could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn posterior cruciate ligament. He exited yesterday's Sunset District game after injuring himself while running the bases. The original diagnosis said Chang would be out 6-7 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."
Thus far this year Chang has hit .251 with no home runs and 12 RBIs.
