Bad Behavior Costs MacKichan and Rodríguez Tuesday, September 24th , 2047 After an intense confrontation, both the Northern Lions BC Eric MacKichan and the Cattlemen Esteban Rodríguez were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Thunder Bay-Ft. Worth game. Eric MacKichan will miss 5 games, while Esteban Rodríguez was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Eric MacKichan commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Looking at his present stats, MacKichan has compiled a .284 batting average in 87 games with a .347 on-base percentage, while hitting 37 home runs and driving in 81 runs. |
