July's Best Hurler in 3L Is Williams Thursday, August 1st , 2047 High pressure game situations don't seem to affect Don Williams, the bullpen ace of the Las Vegas Flamingos. He regularly is put to the test and he regularly makes quick work of the opposition. In July, he was honored for his outstanding relief work. The Menard's Third League presented the Pitcher of the Month trophy to him. The Flamingos reliever had 6 saves, pitched 12 innings, struck out 23 and walked 3 en route to a 3-0 mark and a 1.50 ERA. To date Williams has 17 saves with a 5-0 mark and 1.41 ERA. Opposing teams are hitting .217 against him. |
