2047 SL Best Rookie Named Wednesday, October 30th , 2047 The Newcomer of the Year Award winner has been decided and the United States Silver League trophy went to Mississippi hurler Noud Taaij for his performance in the 2047 season. In 16 starts, he rang up a 7-2 won-lost mark and a 3.48 ERA. In 95.2 innings, the 21-year-old Mockingbirds rookie fanned 114 and walked 25. Opposing teams batted .241 against Taaij. Alberto Zúñiga of the Pittsburgh Kingfishers finished second in voting, while Juan Pérez of the Baltimore Bullets finished third. |
