SL Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award Wednesday, October 30th , 2047 Randy Smith said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 24 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Mississippi Mockingbirds rising star has won the United States Silver League Reliever of the Year Award for 2047. He captured the award on the strength of his 1.66 ERA over 65 innings. He also had 39 saves in 55 relief appearances, 69 strikeouts and only 10 walks. Justin Frederick of the San Mateo Dirty Reds finished second in voting, while Amberlan Romubio of the Echo Park Lakers finished third. |
