Week's Premier Performer Honored by SL Monday, September 23rd , 2047 At the age of 29, Joe Schreibvogel might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Echo Park first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .455 batting average. For his efforts Schreibvogel collected the United States Silver League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 3 home runs and 6 RBIs last week in 6 games. To date, Schreibvogel has collected 85 hits for a .244 average. He has posted 17 home runs, scored 41 runs and driven in 52 runs. |
