MacMurchy Day-to-Day with Injury Saturday, August 3rd , 2047 It's a long season and everyone picks up some cuts and bruises along the way. The latest star to be suffering this year is Archie MacMurchy of the Toledo Stingers, who suffered a strained back muscle while throwing a pitch in yesterday's contest against Echo Park. While he could play through the injury, it's unclear whether or not the Toledo organization will risk that or simply sit him out for the one week the injury is expected to last. This season MacMurchy has compiled a 2-7 record with a 4.76 ERA. |
