July's Best PA Hitter is Ramón Cervantes Thursday, August 1st , 2047 Ramón Cervantes may be much younger than other hitters in the USPL Single A, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in July to win the Batter of the Month award. The 23-year-old Eugene center fielder hit .402 with 3 home runs, 14 RBIs and 18 runs scored. Thus far this season Cervantes is hitting .291 with 11 home runs, 34 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 76 hits in 261 at-bats and has played in 69 games. |
