García Picked PA Player of the Week Monday, July 15th , 2047 So far in his young career, Héctor García has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USPL Single A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Myrtle Beach Seahawks third baseman hit at a torrid .524 clip as he collected 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This year García has hit 5 home runs and posted a .292 batting average. |
