Injury Sidelines Baltwin Bartels for Season Monday, June 24th , 2047 Baltwin Bartels of the Chiefs just might have to call it quits for the season. The 22-year-old Caldwell reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Chicago Tula recently at Pipers Ballpark. Bartels suffered an arthritic elbow while throwing a pitch. The Chiefs medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4 months. This year his season stats show Bartels has no saves in 8 relief appearances with a 0-1 record and 3.60 ERA. |
