Rafael Medina Out for Season Thursday, September 5th , 2047 Rafael Medina of the Gallos just might have to call it quits for the season. The 23-year-old Delmarva reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Yucca Valley Yellows recently at The Cage. Medina suffered an arthritic elbow while throwing a pitch. The Gallos medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4-5 months. Taking a look at his season, Medina has made 34 relief appearances, recorded 7 saves and compiled a 8-0 won-lost mark and a 1.01 ERA. In pitching 71.1 innings, he has totaled 79 strikeouts and 26 walks. |
