Thompson Bags 3A Best Player Award Monday, June 3rd , 2047 The premier performer in the M3L Single A this week was Larry Thompson of the Lake Erie Arryns. The hot-hitting 24-year-old third baseman put up a .500 average and .500 on-base percentage, piling up 9 hits in 18 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 5 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the 3A Player of the Week honors. This season Thompson has banged out 22 hits in 75 at-bats for a .293 average with 6 home runs. He is getting on base at a .325 pace and his totals also include 11 RBIs and 14 runs scored. |
