Hollywood Starter Gets PL Rookie Vote Wednesday, October 30th , 2047 Teika Fukuda's age didn't show very often in his first year. He performed more like a veteran on the hill for the Hollywood Shredders and today he walked away with the 2047 United States Premier League Newcomer of the Year Award. The 23-year-old starter registered a 5-7 record this season in 22 starts. Over 141.2 innings he gave up 139 hits, struck out 111 and issued 36 walks as he held the opposition to a .258 batting average and fashioned a 3.37 ERA. Max van Capelleveen of the Nova Scotia Leviathan finished second in voting, while Nebosja Peric of the St. Louis Coeur finished third. |
