Lesage Named Top Reliever for PL Wednesday, October 30th , 2047 When Terry Lesage jogged in from the bullpen this season, opposing teams knew they were going to have a tough time putting up runs. The Vancouver Grey Wolves closer turned in a dominant campaign and has been named the United States Premier League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2047. His award-winning season saw the bullpen ace get 12 saves in 52 relief appearances, 156 strikeouts in 93 innings and only 13 walks. He had a record of 7 wins and 4 losses to go with his 1.84 ERA. "I hope I can pitch like this every year," he said. Jorge Gil of the Boston Patriots finished second in voting, while Seong-hyeon Yi of the Hollywood Shredders finished third. |
