Rocketeers Not Competitive in 7-0 Loss to Athletic Club KC Sunday, August 25th , 2047 A favor to his bullpen. That's what Tom Johnston was doing at Athletics Park today as he blanked the Seattle Rocketeers in a 9-inning complete game shutout. "I went out there to try to eat up innings and help out our bullpen," the Athletic Club KC left-hander said later. "I felt I had my good stuff, and it turned out my command was solid." Johnston notched 4 strikeouts, surrendered 3 walks, allowed 5 hits, and kept the bullpen phone quiet all day long.
