Fading Stingers Lose 11th Straight
The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

The D.C. Divided topped the Toledo Stingers by the score of 6-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to second baseman Peni Ferede. Ferede went 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Divided on the day. The winner was José Hernández in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Claude Richardson took the loss.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with D.C. trailing 5-4, Tim Rawnsley hit a curveball from Claude Richardson for a 2-run home run, giving the Divided the walk-off win.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Rawnsley said.

Toledo is in the throes of a 11-game skid.
