7-5 Loss Extends Toledo Skid
The Baltimore Bullets beat the Toledo Stingers, 7-5, at Baltimore Grounds. Julian Lemur, in particular, was impressive. He was 3-4 with a triple and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI. Baltimore reliever Carroll Kelly picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Claude Richardson was saddled with the loss. Hamilton Franklin recorded the save, his 6th.

Lemur had a timely hit for Baltimore in the bottom of the seventh. With Toledo trailing 5-4, he turned a 1-1 cutter into a bases-clearing triple. It was his 4th triple of the season, making it 7-5, Baltimore.

"I felt good up there," said Lemur. "I saw the ball well."

With the win, the Bullets sit at 46-42.
