Echo Park Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Lakers fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

The Echo Park Lakers grabbed a win, 6-3, over the Detroit Elite at LA Forum. Echo Park left fielder Philip Todd went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs. Echo Park reliever Amberlan Romubio picked up the win, raising his record to 3-2. Javier Benavides was tagged with the loss.

Echo Park won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and Javier Benavides on the mound for Detroit, center fielder George Runnalls hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Lakers fans to their feet.

"The house was rockin'," said Runnalls.

The Lakers are now 38-42, while the Elite fall to 39-41.
