Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Nova Scotia Leviathan and Seattle Rocketeers.

The Nova Scotia Leviathan topped the Seattle Rocketeers, 4-3, in United States Premier League action at The Dungeon in Halifax. The game was highlighted by the performance of Nova Scotia third baseman Mark Toope. The win gives Nova Scotia a record of 9-9.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Nova Scotia trailing 3-2, Toope hit a fastball from Ken Richmond for a 2-run home run, giving the Leviathan the walk-off win.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Nova Scotia manager Andrew Powell.
