Rivera, Patriots Sink White Walkers Again in Game 2
The Boston Patriots moved to within one game of the ToC Semi-Finals today, downing the visiting Buffalo White Walkers at Dunkin Donuts Park by a score of 10-7. Patriots third baseman Carlos Rivera did some major damage. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 triples, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The win gives the Patriots a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 ToC First Round.

Had Matsuo Ino not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Ino hit a bases-clearing triple. That made the score 10-7, in favor of the Patriots.

Rivera said afterward that the win gets the team one step closer to its goal.

Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday at Beyond the Wall in Buffalo.
