Lakers Pick Up 3-0 Win Over Toledo
Echo Park Lakers starter Mitch Ivey turned in a top-notch performance against the Toledo Stingers at Pacesetter Park. The result was a win for the Lakers, 3-0. Ivey, now 2-0, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing no runs. Amberlan Romubio got the save, the 11th for him this season.

Maema Njongmeta, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Njongmeta contributed a run-scoring triple in the top of the sixth inning to put Echo Park up, 2-0.
