Pandas Lose By a Run at Toledo, 4-3
The Toledo Stingers did just enough to sneak past the Montana Pandas, 4-3, at Pacesetter Park. Toledo pitcher Stu Riley, in particular, had a standout performance. The Stingers raised their record to 18-33.

Mike Johnstone dealt the Pandas a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and Toledo leading 3-0, Johnstone, who is tied for 8th in the SL in bases on balls with 22, hit a 2-2 cutter for a run-scoring single.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Riley.
