Sea Dogs Lose By a Run at Crowley, 4-3
|
Crowley second baseman Keng-chi Zhou was a significant contributor in his team's 4-3 triumph over the Maine Sea Dogs. He hit 2 home runs for Crowley. Melis Ooyendijk got the win, improving to 7-1. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 1. Cisco Hernández notched his 9th save in 9 chances.
Glen Keetley, who is rated as the 33rd best prospect by BNN, helped out the Crowley cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 3 with a walk.
"This was a good win," said Keetley.
The win elevated the Cajuns to 39-24.
