Big Game from Sifuentes Not Enough, Dirty Reds Lose
Both teams had their chances, but the Baltimore Bullets eventually prevailed.

San Mateo right fielder Esteban Sifuentes had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 5-4, to Baltimore at Lang Park. Sifuentes belted 3 home runs. Baltimore reliever Li-chi Lou was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Binjimen Victor.

It could have been a different outcome for Baltimore, had it not been for Johan Kroening, the 37-year old left fielder . Kroening contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Baltimore up, 4-3.

"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Kroening. "I think we showed that here."

The wins continue to add up for Baltimore, with the latest making it 7 in a row.
