The Northwest Territory Beavers withstood an impressive performance by Plattsburgh second baseman I-gap Ch'a to defeat the Puffer Fish, 10-5, at Plattsburgh Park. Ch'a slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Ricardo Aguirre, the winner, improved to 5-8. He held Plattsburgh to 4 runs on 3 hits over 6.1 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts. The Beavers, now 30-50, have won 5 in a row.

Chien-shih Chen hit a run-scoring double off Yura Hrustalyov in the top of the sixth, which put the Beavers in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Chen had 2 singles, while going 3 for 6.
