Ducks third baseman Cam McIntosh put his stamp on his team's 7-5 win over the Franklin Fire. McIntosh was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Long Island in the contest. Sean Hamilton finished to wrap up his 6th save.

Long Island took a 7-5 lead on Kenneth Spivey's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Franklin pitcher Sergio Vázquez in the bottom of the eighth.
