Dirty Reds Hang 6-2 Loss on Stingers
The San Mateo Dirty Reds dealt the Toledo Stingers a 6-2 loss at Lang Park. Jason Slaybaugh was the star on offense. He was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Dirty Reds go to 25-16, putting them second in the Silver League.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, Ronald Dacanay was at the plate when San Mateo scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Dirty Reds to go in front, 3-2.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Dacanay told the San Mateo Today.
