The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople stopped the Ballard Beavers, 9-1, behind an impressive performance from Tomás Pereira. The 18-year old second baseman made life miserable for Ballard pitching. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The loss drops Ballard to 4-8.

Basilio Penni hit a 2-run double off Adrián Correa in the top of the first, which put the Snowpeople in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Penni had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.
