The Quebec City Baby Blues defeated the Beaumont Crossbeaus, 7-4, at Dylan Park today. Leading the charge for Quebec City was third baseman Iván Vega. He was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Quebec City reliever Dave Grady picked up the win to move to 2-0. Alex Thompson suffered the loss. Cedric Campos, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 7th save.

Darren Overton hit a 2-run triple off Alex Thompson in the bottom of the first, which put the Baby Blues in front, 2-1. Overton had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
