The Flint Crush defeated the Quebec City Baby Blues, 5-2, in USSL Rookie action at Flint Park. Flint pitcher Wop Letroit had a standout performance. The winning pitcher was Letroit, now 5-3. He tossed 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 7. The victory puts Flint at 15-25.

The Crush got a big at-bat from first baseman Michael Kemp. For the game, Kemp was 1-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Flint a 4-2 lead.

"We had a good game plan," Letroit said, "and we were able to execute it."
