Parsons Throws 2-Hitter En Route to 5-1 Crossbeaus Win
|
The Beaumont Crossbeaus topped the Northwest Territory Beavers, 5-1, in USSL Rookie action at Beaver Town. The game was highlighted by the performance of Beaumont pitcher Casey Parsons. With the win, the Crossbeaus have a record of 24-14.
Parsons's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 9 strikeouts in 9 innings while allowing 2 hits. Parsons goes to 2-1 on the year with 28 strikeouts.
"Feels good to get the job done," Parsons said after the game.
