Baby Blues Get 8-3 Win Versus Northwest Territory
|
Quebec City Baby Blues starter Johnny Bowling pitched a strong game against the Northwest Territory Beavers at Dylan Park, leading the Baby Blues to victory, 8-3. Shawn Walker sewed up the save, his 2nd. The victory makes Quebec City 12-24.
Darren Overton took Al Jones deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 2-run home run put the Baby Blues on top, 4-3. In all, Overton had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
"Johnny was able to execute his pitches," said Quebec City manager Seth Rice. "Simple as that."
