Rhinos Topple Uruguayans with Late Rally
The Redwood Rhinos beat the Germantown Uruguayans, 9-5, at Ballpark of Albuquerque. The Rhinos got a fine performance from center fielder Armando Pineda, who was 3-5 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2. Redwood is now 50-38, Germantown 14-74.

Redwood used the timely hitting of Fred Christensen to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rhinos on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Redwood skipper Dave Parrish.
