Cong, Bompton Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
Bompton Baby Lakers starter Hang-ki Cong was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Quebec City Baby Blues, 2-1. Norberto González earned the save for Bompton, his 2nd of the year. The Baby Lakers, now 5-1, have stormed out of the gates.

Cong, who leaned on his fastball, allowed no runs on just 1 hit over 8 innings for the Baby Lakers. For the most part, Quebec City hitters were simply overmatched.
