Palgon Lifts Octopi to 12-5 Triumph
The Ogallala Octopi powered past the Redwood Rhinos, 12-5, at The Zoo. Pedro Palgon hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4, to lead the charge. With the win, Ogallala pushed its record to 35-31.

Ogallala relied on the bat of Manuel Ortíz to get the win. The right fielder produced a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Octopi ahead, 5-0. For the game, Ortíz had 1 double and 1 home run in 3 at-bats.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Ogallala manager Luis Muñóz.
