The Myrtle Beach Seahawks picked up a win at Ramblers Ballpark, knocking off the Chicago Tula, 7-0. Starting pitcher Will Hankins was a big reason why. With the win, Myrtle Beach pushed its record to 48-45.
Pablo Olartecoechea, the 21-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Olartecoechea contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth inning to put Myrtle Beach up, 3-0.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Hankins said.
