The Redwood Rhinos picked up a win at Ballpark of Baxter, knocking off the Fort Knox Centennial, 5-3. Starting pitcher Kyle Chambers was a big reason why. The triumph puts Redwood at 36-20 for the season.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder Armando Pineda came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Fort Knox pitcher Iiri Lahti, he hit a full count cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Redwood on top, 4-3.

"Kyle -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Rhinos manager Dave Parrish. "He was the key to us winning."
