The Myrtle Beach Seahawks took Levittown pitcher Bob Wicks's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Seahwaks Stadium. The final score had Myrtle Beach getting past the Blue Dragons, 5-4. Wicks went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 6. Levittown has now lost 4 consecutive games.

The Seahawks were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when first baseman Héctor García turned a first pitch cutter from Rodger Asmus into a 2-run double. The walk-off double electrified the Seahwaks Stadium denizens and sent the Seahawks home with a thrilling 5-4 win.
