Pandas Bridle Dirty Reds, 3-1
|
The Montana Pandas got a magnificent performance from pitcher Roman Phansalker, who muffled the San Mateo offense en route to a tight 3-1 Pandas win at Lang Park. The save went to Rod Watts, number 2 for him. This win makes it 7 in a row for Montana.
The Pandas got a big at-bat from catcher Ángelo Delgado. For the game, Delgado was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fifth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Montana a 2-1 lead.
"I like the roll we're on right now," said Phansalker after the game.
