Otters Win, 4-2, at Ladue
|
Tulsa and Ladue duked it out and the Otters came out victorious.
The Ladue Rams got a sterling performance from pitcher Dave Harris, but the Tulsa Otters still prevailed, 4-2. Harris threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball. Bernardo Caraballo came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 4.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Ben Frazier earned the save for Tulsa, his 7th.
An impactful at-bat came in the top of the second inning. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, the batter, Clifton Roberson, reached on an error by the right fielder, driving in 2 run3. It made the score 2-0, Tulsa, and helped them go on to win.
"Winning never gets dull," said Roberson.
The 4th-place Otters are now 15-14, the Rams 15-14.
