Bacon Slugs Stingers to 4-1 Win
|
The Toledo Stingers downed the Baltimore Bullets, 4-1, at Pacesetter Park. The Stingers were led by Chris P. Bacon. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. The save went to Claude Richardson, his 1st this season. The win puts Toledo at 10-10.
Bacon had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a double. The Stingers went on to win.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Bacon. "And not try to do too much."
