Chiefs Get One-Run Win at Kennesaw
|
The Caldwell Chiefs picked up a win at Jets Stadium, taking down the Kennesaw Jets, 5-4. Starting pitcher Jon Turner was a big reason why. The save was credited to Yuan Hsueh, his 8th. The Jets, at 24-33, have lost 4 in a row.
Caldwell used the bat of Dong Jin to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Chiefs ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"We need to keep playing good baseball," Jin told the Caldwell Daily.
